Free Ring Resizing Policy

Overview

Henry Francis offers one complimentary resizing within two sizes of your original ring size, within six months of receiving your ring, depending on ring type and complexity. For customers in New Zealand, this includes free shipping both ways.

Eligibility and Limitations

Some rings have resizing limitations due to stones set on the band, engravings, or complex or intricate designs. Any ring that cannot be resized, or that has resizing limitations, will be clearly stated in its product description. These rings are not eligible for returns or exchanges.

How To Request A Resize:

Free Resizing Terms and Conditions:

One free resize is available within two sizes of the original ring size, within six months of receiving your ring.
For New Zealand customers, return shipping both ways is included at no cost.
For international customers, shipping costs for a complimentary resize (within two sizes) are the customer's responsibility.

Additional Fees:

Resizing within six months but beyond the two-size limit incurs a resizing fee. Return shipping remains free for New Zealand customers. We will provide a cost estimate before proceeding.
Resizing after six months, or after your one free resize has been used, incurs both resizing and shipping fees.

Requirements:

Customers must have made a reasonable effort to provide the correct ring size at the time of purchase.

Timeframe:

Resizing typically takes 2 to 3 weeks. We aim to complete it sooner where possible, but this is our estimated timeframe.

Complex Resizing:

Resizing by more than two sizes may require remaking the setting, which takes longer than 3 to 4 weeks and may cost more. We will provide a cost estimate before proceeding.

The Resizing Process:

Resizing can involve adding or removing small amounts of metal, which may cause subtle variations in thickness, minor blemishes, or markings. By requesting a resize, you accept these possible outcomes

Warranty:

Resizing your ring at an unauthorised jeweller will void your lifetime manufacturing warranty.

What To Expect:

We will contact you once we have received your ring and keep you updated on its progress. Once resizing is complete, we will notify you and provide tracking details for the return shipment.

Henry Francis reserves the right to determine whether a ring can be resized based on its design and complexity. By requesting a resize, you agree to the terms outlined in this policy.
