Henry's Moment

Henry’s Moment lets you explore what you love, completely pressure-free.

Compare stone shapes and sizes, discover the styles that feel most like you, and find your perfect fit, all from the comfort of home.

Simply snap a stone into the holder and slide it between the band and your finger, it stays securely by tension. You can also place stones directly on your hand to compare. Find your exact ring size and try different setting styles to see what suits you best.

Unlike standard rings, these bands are engineered to flex repeatedly without developing weak points or breaking. They’re adjustable to fit a range of finger sizes, offering a secure, comfortable fit without the limitations of a “one size fits all” design.

To reset the shape, gently reshape the band by hand or place it in 60°C water to restore its original form.

Please handle with care, use tongs or a spoon, as the water will be hot.

For added flexibility, you can briefly chill the bands in the fridge before adjusting.

Avoid overextending the opposite way, as this may affect their ability to return to their natural shape.

Remove the stone from its holder and place it face down on the sizer card provided in Henry's Moment. Read across to find the carat weight it represents if it were a diamond.

Note: Carat refers to weight, not physical size.

Each cubic zirconia in Henry's Moment is precisely cut to mirror as close to the true length and width of a diamond of that carat weight.

The gold bands are plated twice to achieve a smooth, even finish and minimise any un-plated lines on the inside from the plating process.

This careful process naturally makes the gold bands slightly firmer to bend than the silver ones.

Yes. If you’ve purchased Henry’s Moment, the full cost of your try-on box will be credited toward your engagement ring when you order through Henry Francis, because your moment should become part of your forever.

Lab-Grown Diamonds & Quality

Yes. Lab-grown diamonds are chemically, physically, and optically identical to natural diamonds. The only difference is their origin, one is created in a controlled environment, while the other is formed deep within the earth over millions of years.

Even professional gemologists can’t tell them apart without advanced testing equipment. The only question to ask is: which feels right for you?

Some lab-grown diamonds may contain trace elements, such as boron, which can affect their electrical properties. This means certain HPHT and CVD diamonds might register as moissanite on basic diamond testers.

Interestingly, the reverse can also happen: some moissanite stones have been engineered to reduce their electrical conductivity, causing them to test as diamonds on certain electrical-based testers.

How Can This Be Avoided?

For accurate identification, advanced diamond testers that measure both thermal and electrical conductivity are recommended. As lab-grown diamond technology evolves, testing methods will continue to adapt to keep pace.

Yes. Every Henry Francis diamond comes with a certification from either IGI or GIA, two of the most reputable independent grading laboratories.

The certification number is laser-inscribed on the diamond for verification.

The Four C's, Carat weight, Colour, Clarity and Cut are the key factors used to assess a diamond’s quality.

  • Carat weight: The weight of the diamond, 1 carat equals 0.2 grams.
  • Cut: Evaluates the proportions, symmetry, and how well the diamond reflects light. Only round brilliant diamonds are graded on cut.
  • Colour: Assesses the absence of colour, ranging from D (colourless) to Z (yellow).
  • Clarity: Evaluates the presence of any internal or external flaws (known as inclusions and blemishes).

These four characteristics together determine a diamond’s overall quality and value.

Standard grading reports don’t capture certain characteristics that can impact a diamond’s appearance. Many lab-grown diamonds, for example, may exhibit subtle blue or grey hues, or phosphorescence, a glow under UV light that continues after the light source is removed. These factors can influence a diamond’s brilliance and overall beauty.

At Henry Francis, we go beyond the Four C’s, carefully selecting every diamond to ensure it meets our exact standards of exceptional quality.

Choosing a diamond is a meaningful decision, and with so many options available, it can feel overwhelming. At Henry Francis, we simplify the process by offering only the highest-quality diamonds, each carefully inspected in person.

While some jewellers rely on subtle differences in diamond quality going unnoticed, we believe in full transparency. Our mission is to educate and empower you, giving you all the information you need to make a confident, informed choice. Your trust is our highest priority.
